What do you hypothesise from Yvette’s triangle? All 9 voices score low. Maybe she avoids conflict and is afraid to say what she really thinks. Maybe she tries to remain neutral as a HR Manager. Or is she a people pleaser and does not want to upset others. It is unusual for all 9 vices to be low. Maybe she was not allowed to express her voice as a child and also inthe workplace. It would probably be difficult to get to know her and form rapport and maybe develop trust?
What does Yvette’s comparative track tell you about her tendencies under pressure? The direct and probe voice is absent. She may struggle to challenge issues and go deeper to find out what is happening. If this is the case how does she communicate anger and rage? Does she just accept things as they are and feel like a victim to make any change?
What are your hypotheses and lines of enquiry to explore Yvette’s profile?
What was happening and how did she feel when completing the profile?
Did she know how the profile would be used and maybe afraid of how it would be used against her?
What is the culture and enviroment like where she works?
Perhaps you cannot bring your emotions to work and express how you really feel? Seems to be quite a rational objective workplace where you keep your feelings to yourself. I wonder how are emotions expressed in the workplace? Do people feel they can really share how they feel safely?October 17, 2025 at 12:32 pm #3107Harpal DhattParticipantWhat are your hypotheses? She maybe very good in an emergency disaster situation to get things done fast.
She does not question or explore why she is doing something in depth. Soemtimes this could be the wrong thing to do.She looks like she likes telling people what to do and may struggle with listening.
What lines of enquiry would you follow?
Maybe ask about her inner voice and how that helps and hinders her?
Does she struggle with implenting her work?
How does she find out more about the countries she is working in?What questions would you like to ask Becca?
Why does she like about her role and thinks she does well?
Which voice would she like to improve and why?
Is there a voice she struggles with the most?October 17, 2025 at 11:55 am #3106Harpal DhattParticipantQ1. What hypotheses do you have about how Marcia’s profile helps her to be effective in her role? The three exploring voices fit well with her previous role as a nurse. She spent a long time in this role maybe using those voices. She is probably good at building rapport and maybe listening. This could help her to build good relationships with others which is needed in change management.
Q2. What hypotheses do you have about her how profile might cause her difficulties in her role? She is lower in using the controlling voices of direct and evaluate. So may struggle to share what she really thinks. She maybe a people pleaser and not want to hurt people’s feelings. So if this is the case and she has to give people difficult news she may struggle. Perhaps also sharing the benefits and disadvantages of the change.
Q3. What sort of conversation might you expect to have with Marcia? To find out what she struggles most with in her role. Explore which voices are easier to use and whoch are more difficult. What are the consequences of not using certain voices?
Q4. What voice/s do you think it might be helpful for her to develop? Maybe the controlling voice.
Q5. In what way/s? To exolore when she may need to be more direct and perhaps which other voices could support her with this.October 15, 2025 at 9:12 am #3101Harpal DhattParticipantQ1. Which negative voice/s particularly annoy you?criticse/attack/interrogate
